Destiny in Bloom

A testimony is a powerful thing, but only if you share it. I really do believe, “That God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28, NASB.  God’s given me a story to share, and you all know I have shared so much with you (maybe too much sometimes, sorry!) But now I have an opportunity to share with a wider audience.

My cousin-in-love, K from Texas, encouraged me to submit an article to Destiny in Bloom – an Online Women’s Magazine.  I wrestled with what to write about, tried to come up with something funny, witty, inspiring . . . but the more I tried, the less I could write. And it dawned on me that for this, there was only one story to tell. My own. To say that God’s been faithful to me in the understatement of the year. To tell you simply what He’s done will allow you to see for yourself.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 “When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.  I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” NIV

So, long story short, my article is being featured for guest writer’s week on Wednesday, May 18th. I am honored and excited to see what God has in store. Please look for Destiny in Bloom on Facebook or on Twitter @destinyinbloom
